104 degree fever in 10 month old?

Yesterday my niece came down with a fever of 104 degrees, at 10 months old. Her parents took her to the local emergency room where the Dr's told them there was nothing they could find wrong with her. 24 hours later her fever has spiked again. Any thoughts as to what to do next? (obviously not taking her back to the ER)
